The WWE Universe was left in absolute stitches and total confusion last night when one of the most unexpected, hilarious, and downright bizarre moments unfolded live on air during Monday Night RAW. What was supposed to be a serious main event contract signing turned into absolute chaos — thanks to a slip, a sneeze, and one very unlucky Superstar.
The night was building toward a major moment: a tense contract signing between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre for their upcoming WWE World Heavyweight Championship match. The atmosphere was electric, the ring was surrounded by security, and the fans were hanging on every word.
Then… it happened.
As Drew McIntyre stood up to sign the contract, he dramatically pounded his chest and shouted, “I’m going to destroy you, Cody!” But just as he stepped forward, he slipped on a water bottle left behind by a production crew member. In full view of millions, the Scottish Warrior went flying — and landed flat on his back, flipping the table in the process and sending the contract sailing into the air like confetti.
Cody, stunned, tried to help Drew up but accidentally sneezed mid-laugh, causing the microphone to fall out of his hand and hit Drew square in the face. The crowd exploded into laughter. Even the commentary team couldn’t hold it together, with Corey Graves shouting, “Is this real life right now?!”
And it didn’t stop there.
Just as officials rushed in to restore order, R-Truth’s music hit. Why? No one knows — not even him. Truth, holding a ladder and wearing a referee shirt, ran down yelling, “I’m cashing in my Money in the Bank on the United States Championship!” Confused that there was no match happening, he climbed the ladder anyway, stood on the top rung, and declared himself the winner of… nothing.
Backstage, Triple H was reportedly seen laughing and shaking his head. “This isn’t what we planned,” he said jokingly to staff. “But hey, you can’t script live TV!”
Social media instantly erupted. Memes flooded Twitter. One post showed Drew mid-fall with the caption: “When you say you’re going to destroy Cody but gravity says otherwise.” Another fan edited Cody sneezing into a dramatic explosion graphic. Within an hour, “#OoopsRAW” was trending worldwide.
Later that night, WWE posted the full video clip on YouTube with the title: “The Most Accidentally Hilarious RAW Moment EVER?!” — and it quickly surpassed a million views.
Drew McIntyre, taking it all in stride, tweeted, “I might’ve lost my balance… but not my pride. Okay maybe my pride too.” Cody followed up with: “Next time I’ll bring tissues and traction.”
WWE has since teased a comedic rematch segment for next week, now dubbed “The Redemption Signing: No Slips Allowed”.
Whether it was a glitch in the Matrix, a prank by fate, or just the most epic blooper in WWE history, one thing’s for sure — this is a RAW moment we’ll never forget.
